“I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something.” Jackie Mason - “Like so many Americans, she was trying to construct a life that made sense from things she found in gift shops.” Kurt Vonnegut - “I wish to complain about this parrot what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.” Monty Python – “Don't open a shop unless you like to smile.” Confusius

Rosé de Beer is an all round designer. She trained as a fashion designer, then evolved, in the 1990s, to become a senior multi-media designer. Under the auspices of NOB Interactive, she designed, amongst other things, the first corporate websites of a number of large Dutch companies. She is capable of communicating complex material in a clear and conceptually well thought through manner. Her sites are atmospheric without being encumbered by unnecessary trimmings. By listening attentively, and by asking all the right questions, she helps her clients to separate what is important from what is less relevant. From 2001 on, De Beer worked as a freelance designer. Working with Sjaak Langenberg, she expanded her range – both visualising and creating designs for a broad range of products such as flyers, posters, invitations, websites, spatial installations, DVD-covers, sugar sachets, etcetera. She and Langenberg established themselves as an artist duo. And, maintaining her own design practice, Rosé de Beer continues, to develop websites and other forms of graphic design (including for the MRK, Rotterdam's Museum Night, and Theatre Group Witlof). A desire to work with tangible materials brought her to working with ceramics and, later, products in textiles and leather.
